| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Noticed dangerous hesitation/downshifting on my 2007 4cly camry day after purchase, called service dept told them of problems on day 3, closed sunday called monday told of problems, was told to drive for one week so car can learn driving habits. i did on last day i tried to pull out of driveway car hesitated and jumped forward, almost hit a ups truck. called dealer again told them of problems, this time was told no fix at this time but not to worry because like the v6 camry they had to pull all of lot for transmission problems, when and if toyota comes up with fix toyota will let me know. didn't wait for fix traded that day. the 4cly toyota camry is dangerous. this problem needs to be recalled before someone gets killed pulling into traffic. toyota did tell me that there is a problem but didn't know what fix will be but are working on it. *tr |
