Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The speedometer / mileage odometer have intermittently stopped working on several occasions. i brought this up to the dealership since prior to the vehicle going out of the 36mo/36000 mile warranty and was told there was nothing wrong with it, there obviously is. the final time they went out was on nov 10th while we were going through the mountains of tennessee on our way to nc. it has not worked since. after much looking on the internet i have discovered there are a lot of other consumers with the identical complaint on the 2001 through 2006 jeep liberty's. i then called the chrysler consumer hotline and the first person i spoke with was very understanding and said that chrysler would be able take care of it, he then transferred me to a supervisor to have the repairs authorized and the supervisor was very rude and said "chrysler didn't owe me anything, and they would not provide any assistance". this is unacceptable to me as a consumer. *tr |
