| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 nissan pathfinder. the tire mechanic noticed rust in the wheel weld on the lower bracket due to fuel leaking from the vehicle. the manufacturer stated that the contact's vin was not included in the recall for nhtsa campaign id number 07v435000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage:tank assembly:filler pipe and cap). they also advised him to call the consumer affairs division in two weeks. the tire mechanic diagnosed the failure while replacing the tires. the repair would cost $1,000. the failure mileage was 68,900 and current mileage was 69,000. |
