| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2004 thor tahoe recall notice regarding a problem with the dexter axle. *mr the consumer called the dexter axle company and gave them the serial number. dexter axle company comfirmed that the dual axle of this rv was rated 6000 lbs. per axle. the consumer then called carlisle tire company who confirmed that the lt235/85r16, load range e tire have a max load per tire of 3042. the consumer recently had two blowouts of these tires with less than 3000 miles on them. the consumer feels that this rv has some design flaws and is unsafe to drive on the road (thor california recall campaign no. 150030). *nm |
