Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1995 dodge ram 2500 with recalls concerns customer states that the recalls have not been fix by the dealer and it almost got him killed**cc the consumer stated there was a recall on the secondary hood latch and the dealer told him they could not perform the recall, because the primary latch was defective. upon leaving the dealership, the consumer hit a bump and the hood flew up over the windshield, which caused the consumer to loose control of the vehicle, and subsequently hit a jersey barrier. the consumer also stated the dealer didn't perform the coil spring tower recall sufficiently. the consumer stated the dealer didn't use a wrench, they just tack welded the plate on each tower. the recall was suppose to take 5 hours, however the consumer stated they were done in 15 minutes. *jb |
