Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2006 chevy silverado with faulty brake lights. consumer stated that the brake lights have failed four times in ten months. this failure almost got the consumer in a serious accident. *kb the consumer discovered the bulbs were not burning out, but the problem was due to arcing caused by poorly designed socket contacts. the consumer stated gm needs to redesign the socket to provide line contact at the socket/bulb electrical interface. the present design provides contact only. *jb |
