| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Abs brake system has activated and created a dangerous skid on at least 6 occasions. i am an excellent driver and used avoidance manoveurs twice to avoid collisions. there seems to be two consistent conditions that cause the activation of the abs /skidding...bumpy roads(i have skidded both on dry railroad crossings and dry unpaved mountain roads) and, second, rainy paved surfaces that would not ordinarily induce a skid. wet white painted lines at intersections are major contributors. what i cant understand is that as of 01/04/2000, you already have 463!!! reports on your website of this vehicle/year/system failure and yet, no recall. *ak |
