Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Engine stalls when coming to a stop especially in hot weather when air conditioner is on. dangerous because it sometimes happens when making a turn, going through intersections, slowing down for any reason. dealer knew immediately that the problem was a dirty throttle body. however, even with regular cleaning of the throttle body, there is no way to completely prevent this from happening. this occurred once when i was in the middle of a turn on a curvy road leaving me with no steering, power breaks, etc. had a vehicle been approaching, my car would have been broadsided.
