Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is a 1995 oldsmobile aurora. i am the original owner. the car has less than 70k miles, has been garaged and has not been in any accidents. after driving in winter storms the car was always washed under the chassis in the car wash to remove salt. on 10/5/2006, as i was pulling out of the garage, the brake pedal felt totally soft and the car stopped with difficulty after pumping the brakes many times, etc. our garage has a high slope into the street. i pulled the car slowly back into the garage and observed brake fluid on my driveway. i raised the car on jacks and i inspected the underbody. the brake fluid lines going towards the back wheels are heavily corroded and a spot was leaking heavily. i have owned several cars in the past and kept them for many years and high mileage but i never faced such a serious safety issue. imagine if i was driving on the highway, at 65 miles/hour!*jb
