| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My car suffered from the smell of rotten eggs from the exhaust system whenever stopping the vehicle. the dealer replaced the oxygen sensor 1st. a "cracked" vacuum hose 2nd. all 6 fuel injectors & spark plugs 3rd try. they then blamed it on the oxygenated fuels we have in california. it still stinks like crazy when coming to a stop or parking after driving it. it made my wife sick on a number of occasions, but they stated that there was nothing else they could do to correct the problem. my air conditioner had leaked it's freon out 3 times before i demanded (and paid for) a leak test that revealed multiple leaks. although warranty expired i demanded repairs due to the history of problems. they replaced expansion valve, receiver dryer, gaskets & o-rings. the compressor failed in less than 2 weeks. i had to go to battle with them again to get that problem corrected. i imagine they realized the documented history by now, so they replaced the compressor at no charge. *ak |
