Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The subaru svx transmission has several problems that need to be addressed immediately, it can be unpredicatble at times and thus could easily result in an accident due to unreliable acceleration and power transfer. after i had my original transmission replaced, i was suprised to quickly learn that my new transmission was fading quickly, subaru i obviously satisfied with just replacing the transmission until the owners powertrain warranty is complete, then sticking the owner with the unfair responsibilty of either replacing their own transmission at their cost, or just to continue driving their car in its unpredictable state, this policy/practice is simply unnacceptable to me, immediate action needs to be mandated, and this transmission problem needs to be fixed with a recall and a solution to the problem, such as a modified, redesigned transmission, before somebody gets hurt by pressing the gas pedal and just lurking forward into traffic, just to be confronted with a transmission that refuses to engage at critical times, this could easily kill somebody with speeds that we americans drive these days. please consider this comment and the others that i am sure you have received, and do the right thing, mandate a recall. thank you ! |
