Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This item is a recall but when dealer corrected it i was charged because of vehicle not being the correct vehicle number. the mechanic informed me that it was the same part that was being replaced in the recall. it seems that maybe you should put the recall on the part not the vehicle number. when this item fails, it creates extremely dangerous condition, of not being able to see out the front windshield during a rain storm. this fix cost me $74.00 which the dealer or chevy could not tell me why i was paying other than they didn't have to because you folks did not include my vehicle # in the recall. i still had the same dangerous condition which put my family in jeopardy numerous times.
