| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Transmission (possibly malfunction in computer or solenoid). 2 yrs ago advanced transmission put in a 604 rebuilt transmission and torque converter. the problem has continued to exist. most days the transmission shifts fine. other days the transmission does not shift gears at all. it goes into safety mode and has not gears at all. i never know when it will do this. also, when i am at a standstill, if i turn off the a.c. the car jumps forward. this has almost caused me to hit other cars in the rear. they have tried putting in other computers and very seldom can get a malfunction readout on the transmission. seatbelts - the seatbelts do not lock up upon braking nor at any other time. they move forward as far as you move your body forward. they are of no use as a restraint. |
