| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In march '97 and again in oct.'99 the car exploded when cranked. the last time the explosion was so bad it blew the side out of the cover. a tremendous amount of black smoke poured out. needless to say, it was very unnerving. i was advised by the service manager that this has happened to many other people who have the '93 eldorado and that in early '97 a safety pressure release valve was made available to correct this problem. it does not show up on my invoice that this was installed on my car either time it happened. i think there should be a recall to correct this problem. |
