| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While having tires balanced and rotated, consumer was informed that tires were showing signs of tread separation, the tire dealer exchanged the set of general/contintal tires (p215/70 r14 amer1 gys) with another set, however on june 26, 2001 while driving one of the replacement tires began to experience tread separation, vehicle was taken into tire dealer, and consumer was informed that the warranty was void on the tire because the tire had been repaired in the past due to a nail puncyture, after the consumer complained the tire deatler settled with the consumer.*jb |
