Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am a teacher and leave for work early in the morning. i live on an unlit semirural road with no sidewalks. children walk along the road in order to get to the schoolbus stop at the end of my block. i came very close to striking a group of children because although my lights were on and i was driving very slowly i could not see them in the early morning light/darkness. i have since noticed that i can not see the road very well after dark and upon checking (i thought my headlight bulbs had failed) discovered that the plastic headlight covers have clouded over and far less than normal light is emitted and that light is greatly diffused rendering operation of my vehicle at night unsafe. i have not taken it to a dealer. if i do, are they responsible for replacing the headlight covers? *ak |
