| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Transmission has hard down shift from 2nd to 1st gear, transmisson was rebuilt in 1998 under factory warranty. down shift problem returned with-in 2 months of rebuild, but every time took to dealer for diagnostic dealer could not find problem. on last diagnostic test 9 march 2000 dealer stated internal damage and est. repair cost $1800.00.. problem is intermittent, does not matter if car is worm or cold. at times transmission had slippage pulling (slight) up hill grades. *ak |
