Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: We have had problems with the air conditioner for almost two years. during the warmer months, we have had to add freon about every 2 months. we have had to add freon to the system at least 5 times since 8/98, which is excessive because the air conditioning system is generally only used during the summer months in northern illinois. earlier air conditioning system checks could not detect where the leak was occuring. a recent check in april resulted in a diagnosis of an evaporator problem. the firestone repair shop manager stated that air conditioner problems were common for the plymouth/chrysler minivans. *ak
