| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was (a 53 yr old woman) driving alone thru the desert, pulling a travel trailer (2,500 lbs) when the tread suddenly peeled off my front right tire . it was daytime, july, hot and i was going about 60 mph. luckily i was able to stop with out injury or damage. i immediately replaced all 4 tires because of my distrust of the them. the dot listed is off one of the tires( that i now have as a spare)--i don't have the one that peeled. i asked the tire people to save the best of the 4 for a spare. i am furious that i risked my life on tires that were known as defective. *ak( dot number: w2hl imo 3 tire size: p23575r15 ) |
