Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I waas just informed that gmc has a special policy involving fixing of a very dangerous fuel system problem cmsi for ca. chevrolet, astro vans. my van was included in this policy. gmc refuses to fix problem even though it is within the 10 year span. the problems have existed since i've owned the vehicle however since the van is over 100,000 miles they refuse to fix it? the fuel injection , fuel regulation etc. is a mess and has been a total nightmare. stalling in traffic, lurching forward, very strong gas fumes inside and out, bucking, lack of power etc. it has been very dangerous for all of these years. i have tried to correct the problem which always comes back to the fuel system, spent much money to no avail. now i find out there was a recall or 'policy' and i didn't need to have myself or passengers in danger and smelling gas fumes all this time and gm refuses to correct problem. i even have a case number c03196007 and i've talked to angelette in customer relations for gm as she said they won't fix it. she referred me to you?? and to better business bureau?? i transport teenage baseball players in my vehicle, i cannot afford a new car. please help!! *ak |
