Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Entered vehicle while parked to drive, leaned against back of seat and the seat back collapsed to a lie-down position. both bolts that fastened the seat back to the seat base, broke, on the door side. if i had been moving, this could have been catastrophic, causing loss of control. in my 37 years of driving, i have never had a seat failure of this kind. i immediately took the vehicle to a chevrolet dealer, and the part manager wrote down the parts and said he would call in an emergency parts order the following monday. he also said there would be no cost to me, even though the vehicle is out of warranty. we'll see!
