| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While entering a left bend in a road the steering locked up. i had to apply a hard left jerk and was able to recover proper steering in time to avoid an accident. at the same time of recovery the air bag light come on. soon after, i found that the horn and speed control did not operate. it was found that the c/spring, mfg. part number 5252468, costing 167.00 plus 13.78 tax, failed internally. it is the rotary relay switch assembly for the air bag, speed control switches and horn, located directly under the steering wheel. failure of this component in other chrysler vehicles is of concern. |
