| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Car seems to "hic-cup" - the engine seems to "shut off" and "turn on" again for a second or two while driving. as this happens, the "check engine" light stays lit for about 3 seconds. i have not contacted my dealer yet (it happened over the weekend), but i have sent an email to hyundai motor about the problem. i have also read in several postings on the internet about other 1998 accent owners having the same problem. |
