| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Head gasket was replaced by dealer at no cost, but i also needed to repalce the timing belt according to the dealer. the drive train has a warranty for 60,000 miles, and i purchased an extended warranty for six years or 100,000 miles. you would think the timing belt should be replaced at no charge with a truck with such low mileage. my extra warranty was useless in this matter according to the dealer. if i didn't have it fixed they would say i didn't do proper maintance to the truck making my warranty void.i was in a catch 22 situation. ifeel the dealer or toyota should refund my $185 for installing the timing belt. |
