| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle exhaust manifold studs failed/broke. dealer is aware of service bulletin spelling out problem. exhaust manifolds leak during failure, manifold gaskets are asbestos fibers which leak into living compartment of vehicle during failure. service bulletin only mentions bolt failure which dealer refuses to cover after warranty. due to potential danger i believe that recall should be put into effect for all nissan products with this failure and asbestos warning be placed on bulletin as well. asbestos warning only placed on replacement gasket. *ak |
