| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Gas guage continuously reads lower than actual. reports 'e' when 1/4 tank of gas still left. returned to dealer 4 times and they replaced the "sending unit" twice (after they told me they couldn't find anything wrong twice). still no resolution. it's been like this since i purchased the vehicle at approx. 500 miles, and now i'm up to about 8000 miles. i have a 20 gallon tank and am averaging 20 miles per gallon. however, the guage reads 3/4 after only 50 miles; 1/2 after 150 miles; 1/4 after 225 miles and 'e' after 180-190 miles. *ak |
