| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle rolled into intersection abs brakes being applied -- it eventually stopped. took to dealer (smith chv, turlock) -- he replaced shoes and said hydraulics and sensors were fine. shoes still had some life on them. vehicle stopped better, but still acted as if braking was intermittent. took vehicle to american chv (modesto) -- found faulty front left abs component and replaced. i want to note the first dealer was adament that there was no braking problem with the car, making me believe that an abs failure is very hard to detect. |
