| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The engine was burning a significant amount of oil, so i took the vehicle to the local isuzu dealer to be inspected. the chief mechanic told me that there was a material failure in the piston rings causing the engine to burn the oil. i called isuzu usa directly and asked for assistance. i was told that there was nothing they could do, even though one of their mechanics diagnosed a "material failure" in the engine component. i have since spoken with other mechanic who have stated that this is a "common problem" with troopers. any assistance would be appreciated. |
