| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On august 17,1999 my wiper motor and circuit board had to be replaced on my 1994 chevrolet k1500 pickup. i just recently learned that there had been a recall (03v159000) on this item due to defective solder joints on the controller board. after notifying gm by phone i was told that "my vin number was not one of the vehicles under recall-i also went to my dealer that had replace the parts and they also stated that my vehicle was not on the recall list. i feel that any vehicle that had a wiper motor and circuit board replaced by dealer should be reimbursed for the cost of that item because if it was not defective it would still be working. |
