| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Anti-lock brake system light came on. problem diagnosed as failure of kelsey hayes rwal. the dealer quoted $548 for the part and $87 labor. i discussed with the dealer and did further investigation. there is a history of problems with 1990-1995 gmc and chevy 2-wheel suburbans having failure of the abs. i contacted the zone rep, who was nice, but said no recall campaign to-date means no replacement by gm. i am driving the vehicle as-is (without anti-lock) and continuing to pursure how to have gm replace the defective kelsey units. *ak |
