| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The 2 problems reported are serious manufacturing defects which could easily have caused death or major injury. the traction control system failed without warning at 45 mph in heavy traffic. it disengaged the engine from the transmission, leaving me to coast and weave through traffic to the shoulder. the clutch failed without warning at a stop sign. had it failed a few seconds later i would have been struck broad side while crossing traffic. it failed because the clutch hose collapsed. both of these problems are frequent, well known defects to both saab usa and the dealer. they have refused to do a recall for either. *ak |
