Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Iwas in a low speed car wreck hitting a stopped vehicle approx, speed was 35 m.p.h., the drivers airbag deployed on impact knocking me unconscious. i sustained major injuries to my back and neck from this now outdated airbag. why has this product not been recallled and replaced with the next generation airbags. i know the force of these outdated airbags are overkill on protection and cause more injuries and death then needed. this problem needs to be addressed, especially with so many older minivans on the road with these older systems of airbag deployment. its been over a year since my accident and i suffer not only pain from my injuries caused by that airbag, but anxiety and distress every time i sit in a car with an airbag. i know own a vehicle in which i know that i will not be knocked out and injured by an airbag. *ak
