| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The tire family on a family trip to florida. we were traveling down the expressway at about 65mph when the car started a strange vibration. we pulled over and inspected the car and tires. nothing was apparent. approximately 10 miles later, the vibration intensified and the tire tread separated form the tire and flew under the car, making a loud noise., we were in the right lane and managed to pull off to the side of the road. you could see tire tread flying in the air from the car in the rearview mirror. when we stopped the rim of the tire was practically on the ground and a huge strip of tread was missing. very scarry! other tires were fine.( dot number: tire size: p235/75r15 ) |
