| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: At approximately 22,000 miles, both rear tires experienced separation of the tread. the separation in each instance consisted of a six inch by eighteen inch section flying off the tire. the tread separated to the extent that the metal cords were exposed. obviously, the vehicle chattered and shuddered noticably until the tires were replaced. i did not want to chance additional separation, so i replaced the other tires at the same time. the broker through whom my mechanic purchased the tires said there was nothing they could do.( dot number: tire size: p235/75r ) |
