Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There is a recall on this component for my vehicle, nhtsa campaign id number 94v077000. the fuel tank filler neck solder joint is cracked just as described in the recall database. i have taken the vehicle to the chevrolet dealership and called the chevrolet customer care center at 800-222-1020, and they say that my car is not eligible to have this problem corrected. i guess they feel i am eligible to have my car catch fire or explode because of a faulty fuel tank! at this point, all i would like is for gm to correct the problem with my vehicle, in the future after the vehicle has exploded, perhaps my family will request much more of gm. landon ball.*ak |
