| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My son was driving down i-95 in south carolina at only about 50 mph due to rain when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle, left the road and rolled over three times into a ditch and totaled the car. there was no apparent explanation for why he lost control. we had just recently replaced tires with new firestone atx ii. when we asked the tow truck driver about recovering the tires we were told that they were blown out. since this accident occured prior to any publicity about firestone tire failures we did not ask to see the tires. my son was injured and forced to miss classes at college.*ak (tiresize: 23575sr15)( dot number: tire size: 23575sr15 ) |
