Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The interior of the fuel tank rusted causing debris to clog the carburetors and the motorcycle to run poorly. this allerted me to the problem before the rust was able to perforate the tank. this would have caused fuel to leak on hot engine parts posing a severe fire risk. i repaired the tank at my own expense and paid a mechanic to clean the carburetors of debris. this problem is well known to kawasaki as the design of this fuel tank has not changed since the motorcycle model was first introduced in 1986. |
