| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The abs in my vehicle failed without warning or producing an error code. other owners that i have spoken with have told me of having the same problems. but the manufacturer has been of no help. i would be content to know how to disable the system in order to prevent future incident, but no one will volunteer this information because it is "safety" equipment. i can not, in good conscience, sell this vehicle. however i am very uncomfortable driving it, knowing that i will eventually have another accident with it because there is no answer as to what is wrong with the abs. i do not understand how the manufacturer can install equipment of this type without a fail-safe that will bypass the abs in the event of an equipment malfunction. *ak |
