Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Toyota will fix crack for approximately $1,000.00 or more ,but cannot guarantee work will hold because welding firewall will make it brittle, and eventually cause other cracks . numerous body shop owners have informed us that they never heard of firewalls on vehicles cracking ,only race cars because of the pressure put on the clutches of race cars. toyota refuses to help us or give us any direction in this matter. this vehicle is unsafe now and will always be unsafe to me, my family , any future owners or vehicles and pedestrians on the road. i am just looking to resolve this matter as soon as possible as i have 31/2 years of financing left on this vehicle, which i do not feel will ever be really safe to drive on the road. *ak |
