| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Driving on interstate and needed to slow for construction zone. cruise would not disengage. turned switch off. hit brake. even put car into neutral for a short time but speed control would not disengage. had to ride brakes about 5 miles in construction zone between tractor trailers before having chance to get off and stop the car. the cruise control disengaged after the engine was turned off for 15 minutes. i paid $420 to replace pads and two rotors after the incident. this is quite dangerous. it also happened last year and we had cruise control components replaced by montgomery mazda in charlotte, nc. *ak |
