| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The steering box failure in this incident gave no warning, had just left the highway and was turning into a fairground when the steering locked upon turning to the left, speed was only 10 mph. so i was able to control vechicle. had this happened 3 minutes earlier i probally would not be filling this report nor the other occupants of this vehicle. i feel this was a life threatening situation, espically where the wheel locked to the left ,the vehicle would veer into on coming traffic had i been on a highway or a secondary road. i have not received any word or help from the ford motor company about this. vechicle is being repaired at grappone ford, heavy truck service dept, concord nh. *ak |
