| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While shifting into reverse, the engine accelerated on its own and locked into a very high rpm, causing the vehicle to shoot out of its parking place, across the aisle between the rows of parked cars and into a parked vehicle on the other side of the aisle. when the 300m came to rest against the vehicle, both the driver and passenger noted that the gear shift lever in the center console was in the park position. subsequent investigation by cincinnati ins and keystone chrysler concluded that "nothing was wrong". owners disagree, and are concerned about a possible repeat occurrence. *ak |
