Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Shoulder harness no longer locks tight around my child. when i pull the long strap to tighten the shoulder straps i can then pull the straps back out without having to pull the small release strap. i contacted century and was sent a replacement harness system, but the defective part appears to be the locking mechanism under the seat. i again contacted century and was told that if i sent back the carseat cover at my own expense along with a receipt showing the purchase of a new carseat, i would receive a $40 rebate check. i am extremely angry that my child's life was put in danger and that century did not fully stand behind their product. i will not be purchasing any century products in the future. |
