Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Air conditioner evaporator core located in an enclosed area behind passenger side engine firewall developed serious leaks causing total loss of air condition gas. at first the loss of coolant gas was thought to be as result of failure of the high & low pressure tube, however after replacement a serious leak continued with- in the system which was later discovered to a leaking evaporator core. apparently this is a common problem for air condition evaporators for the 1995 oldmobile 88 and some other general motors vehicles of around that model year. replacement cost is very expensive. the cost to repair this defective equiptment should not have to be paid by the consumer.
