| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Door seal defect prevented opening of door, indirectly causing safety hazard, since my child was repeatedly forced to exit car on drivers side into oncoming traffic. several technical service bulletins over several years have referred to this problem but dealer refused to replace defective door seal without charge. i believe that a door stuck shut is indeed a safety hazard and should be investigated as such. no other cars i have owned have ever had this problem, even at older ages. this design and materials defect is an indirect safety hazard but should be still considered a legitimate one nonetheless. i paid $300 to have the pasadena chrysler dealer fix this problem and believe that chrysler should have paid for it. thank you for your attention. beatrice hirano, my correct zip code is 91770-no way to modify the data without erasing the comments. you should fix that on your site. |
