| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving on the road at 65 mph, the headlights failed;the driving lights also failed at the same time. i checked with the manufacturer about a recall for this problem and there was none listed for this year. there was a recall for similar problem that only went back to the 1994 model. the service manager at dealrship informed me that this was a fairly common occurance in grand prixs, olds cutless, and whatever the buick model based on the same platform is. they indicated that it is a faulty hi/low beam switch in the stalk with the cruise control. apparently not enough of these have been reported in my model year to effect a recall, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous to drive. |
