Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Purchased car at used car sale through company credit union in april of 1999. the car had just over 50,000 miles. called lincoln continental and they had no service record on the car. tracked down former owner and he advised that he had no major problems. two weeks after purchase had a circuit replaced. the blown circuit effected the speedometer and cause the engine to rev up and down depending on what the broken speedometer reflected. in august the alternator failed and had replaced by lincoln service center. driving home from service center the rear suspension failed. the service center refused to repair saying that the hydraulic suspension was problematic for this model. three weeks later the headgaskets blew after a less than 15 mile drive (to church). *ak
