Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The fuel rail has a hairline crack and is leaking, creating a very hazardous situation exactly like the lhs models which were covered by recall and listed on your web site. nhtsa campaign # 98v184000. the imperial model is the lhs's predecessor.the cost of the repair is $540.00. i do not think a fuel line is a planned obselecense item. chrysler has had many problems with fuel rails. i feel the imperial should be covered just as the lhs was since the problem apparently began with the imperials. i have requested the old part from the dealer. also note on your consumer complaint site odi id: 832841regarding the same leaking problem. i appreciate your help in this matter. *ak |
