Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Truck's gauge went in the red zone hot, i immediately pulled over and towed it to hansel toyota. i was then informed that it may be under the recall issue. alot of 1995 toyota p/u were recalled same year, make and model along with the v6 engine size. when the service rep. punched in my truck's vin#, i was told that it was not in the recall series of vin #'s. but it seems odd that the same year, make, model and v6 engine size was recalled for the same problem that i'm having in my truck and my vin # wasn't recalled. i have had the water pump and the thermostat was replace by hansel toyota. they didn't know if the water pump and thermostat was damaged until they have the engine apart. they did show that the head gasket was difnitely damaged by the diagnostic test that they ran. i think thatit should be under the same recall, because the same year, make and model al ong with the v6 engine are having the same problems. *ak
