Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Crimped fuel line connections at the engine leaks fuel. these connections are directly over the ignition distributor and pose a serious fire hazard. it appears that the cause of the leak is an improperly sized metal crimp: even though the rubber supply and return lines are different sizes they use the same size metal crimp. at low temperatures the age related reduction of compression set retentsion of the rubber hose material causes the hose to loose its seal and leak fuel. please note that the fuel line that leaked is the low pressure return line, not the high pressure supply line. *ak
